IIMERS is about mitigating risk of poor to catastrophic outcomes. Whether we are developing risk plans, workplace OH&S documentation, or coaching our clients through mock disaster simulations, the objective is always to be prepared. Our approach is preventative. Whether it is a risk identified or risk unknown, our methods will ensure that your organisation is ready to respond and continue.

Our expert team trained in emergency medicine and first aid, mental wellbeing, fire, security, and safety can be on-site to respond quickly during high-risk work activities during critical path or shutdown phases.

Dual Stage Process

Primary Stage - Assess and Mitigate

Occupational health and safety best practice is never an accident. Great OH&S outcomes are achieved when there is commitment to risk management in the first stage. How well prepared is your organisation? Illness, injury, crisis and continuity. Each of these are key considerations during the assessing and mitigating phase. We use trends, data, historical events both internal and external to identify potential risks which may stop work. Our preventative approach is designed to mitigate risk of poor outcomes and improve site care and safety for all employees.

Secondary Stage - Response and Continuity

In the secondary stage, the IIMERS team take on responsibility for employee care during illness, injury or disaster. This includes site and offsite triage, site care, and emergency response in event of major incident. Our services can include on-site medical to respond to any injuries, escort to hospital for case management, administer pain medication, contagious disease containment, drug and alcohol response, mental health crisis intervention and first aid and fire response. Designed to deal with any immediate crisis which may occur, IIMERS also provides access to fire, and security services.
